Sam I Am!

I got to meet Sammy today! I've been waiting for a couple of weeks now, and the day finally came.

A few months ago, we lost a dear friend. My Mum called, and she could barely get the words out to tell me Smokey (her faithful doggy companion of 12 years) had passed on. I found myself choking up as I tried to find the words to console my Mum. I'd known Smokey since she was a tiny puppy. She was the best dog you could ask for and the most faithful of friends.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago... Mum called, and after chatting for a bit, she casually mentioned that I'd have to meet Sammy. I smiled as I asked her just who Sammy was. Sammy, she said, was her new puppy.

And so we arrive at today... Renee and I headed in for a visit this morning, eager to meet Sammy and visit with Mum.


He likes to sleep in the front-hall closet...


but he was awake in a flash when he heard the sound of my camera...


What to make of this camera thing???


Maybe I'll model for him!
