Hamilton is a
beautifully scenic place situated on the Niagara
Peninsula near the West end. Bordered by
Lake Ontario and Hamilton Harbour, the Niagara
Escarpment (a.k.a. Hamilton Mountain), the
awesome visual impact of nature is everywhere.
Close by are the
neighboring cities of Brantford, Burlington,
Cambridge, and Niagara Falls, all within close
driving proximity.

Hamilton Ontario is
often called The City of Waterfalls, as there
are 65 identified waterfalls in Hamilton.

Hamilton Ontario Parks and Green Spaces
You're in luck if you
like hiking, biking, rollerblading, walking, or
just enjoying nature. Hamilton has a huge
amount of parkland, 3100 acres to be exact, at
over 400 locations. Hamilton also has over
49 kilometres of trails to head out on, and over
1600 acres of open space to enjoy nature.
These parks, trails and
nature spaces can be ideal spots for wedding
photos as any Hamilton photographer will
tell you. Ask your photographer for their
favourite spots.

Cathedral of Christ the King
The
Cathedral of Christ the King is the
mother Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Hamilton, and a truly spectacular gothic
landmark. Built in 1933, it boasts
beautiful Italian marble and incredible
stained-glass windows.
We've had the privilege
of photographing weddings at the Cathedral of
Christ the King, and it is a gorgeous and
inspirational location to get get married.

love to photograph weddings at Christ the King.

Dundurn Castle / Dundurn National Historic Site
Dundurn Castle, part of the
Dundurn National Historic Site, is a
fantastic Hamilton location to have your wedding
at. The incredible home of Sir Allan
Napier MacNab, one of the first premiers of
Canada, Dundurn Castle showcases over 40 rooms
across three different floors, all beautifully
furnished in Victorian style.
The castle is an
incredible site with it's combination of
beautiful gardens, incredible grounds, and
interesting outbuildings. In it's time,
Dundurn Castle was considered to be one of the
best luxury estates in the entire province.
It's still easy to see why.
Dundurn Castle makes a
great location for your wedding photos.
Most Hamilton photographers have shot there and
love the huge variety of creative possibilities
for wedding photos.

The
Canadian
Warplane Heritage Museum has over 40
planes ranging from the World War II era to more
modern jet aircraft. A perfect spot if one
of you is a pilot or aircraft enthusiast.
You could do some fantastic wedding photos

The Canadian
Football Hall of Fame & Museum is a
great spot the football fans among you will want
to check out. It's also a great location
for photos. Talk to your photographer
